What You Will Do:

SEO is no longer just Google rankings. Search has split into three channels: traditional search, AI-generated answers, and local map results. You need to dominate all three.

Your job:
On-page SEO: meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking, content optimisation
Local SEO: Google Business Profile optimisation, weekly posts, review strategy, local directory submissions, map pack rankings
Technical SEO: site audits, Core Web Vitals, crawl errors, schema markup, indexation issues
Content-led SEO: keyword research, content briefs, topic clusters, hub-and-spoke page structures
AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation): structuring content so AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot) cite and reference our clients as the answer
GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation): optimising for how generative search engines select, summarise, and display information.



You understand how LLMs pull sources and you structure content to be selected.
This is real client work. Real rankings. Real leads. Not theory.

You Must Have:
3+ years hands-on SEO experience with real ranking results you can prove
Expert in Google Search Console, Ahrefs or SEMrush, and Google Business Profile
Deep understanding of on-page, technical, and local SEO
Working knowledge of AEO and GEO: you understand how AI search works and how to optimise for it
Experience writing or briefing content that ranks, not just auditing
Can build internal linking maps and topic cluster strategies
Understand schema markup (FAQ, LocalBusiness, Organisation, Article)
Can produce monthly reports showing what was done and what moved
Track record of improving organic traffic and local map rankings for service businesses
