Job Summary
Rama University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Fundamentals of Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, or Medical Surgical Nursing. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering quality teaching, supervising clinical training, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver theory and practical lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
Supervise clinical postings and provide hands-on training.
Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and assessments.
Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.




Guide students in research, projects, and clinical practice.
Participate in curriculum development, academic administration, seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
Contribute to research, publications, and accreditation activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: M.Sc. Nursing in Fundamentals of Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, or Medical Surgical Nursing.
Valid State Nursing Council/Indian Nursing Council (INC) Registration.
Experience: 1–3 years of teaching and/or clinical experience in the relevant specialty is preferred.
