Job Title : General Manager – Production Planning & Control (PPC)

Experience – 15 -20 years

Education-

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
MBA / PGDM in Operations Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage end-to-end Production Planning & Control functions for the plant by ensuring optimum production scheduling, resource utilization, inventory management, customer delivery performance, and cross-functional coordination.



The role is responsible for aligning manufacturing operations with customer demand, business objectives, and operational excellence initiatives while ensuring inventory optimization and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

Develop annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and customer requirements.
Ensure optimum machine loading and capacity utilization across manufacturing departments.
Monitor production adherence against plan and take corrective actions to address deviations.
Balance demand and capacity to achieve desired service levels and manufacturing efficiency.

Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;)

Lead S&OP; reviews with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams.
Ensure effective demand planning and conversion into executable production plans.
Identify constraints and recommend mitigation plans.
