About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric & Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale data engineering and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and contemporary data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, lakehouse, data warehouse, and real-time data solutions. You will work across complex data engineering initiatives and collaborate with teams across multiple functions and geographies.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Build enterprise data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Develop data ingestion and integration solutions from SaaS, on-premises, PaaS, SharePoint, APIs, and multiple file formats.
• Design and implement Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake architectures.
• Develop data transformation and orchestration workflows using Fabric and Azure services.
• Build real-time data solutions using Eventstream, Eventhouse,



Spark Structured Streaming, and KQL.
• Develop solutions using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and KQL.
• Implement dimensional data models using Kimball methodology and Star Schema.
• Optimize data pipelines, Spark workloads, and ingestion processes for performance and cost.
• Implement CI/CD and source-control practices using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Support Microsoft Fabric workspace, security, governance, and capacity management.
• Develop and maintain technical architecture and design documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile/Waterfall delivery, estimation, planning, and technical decision-making.
• Stay current with emerging technologies including Machine Learning and Agentic AI.
