In the Strategic Partners Team (SPT), we work on some of the most complex and high-impact opportunities across Asia.
As a Strategic Technical Lead (STL), you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering transformation strategies for our largest and most strategic customers.
This sales-led technical leadership role combines executive engagement, transformation strategy, architecture, commercial accountability and end-to-end deal execution.
SPT focuses on Microsoft’s most strategic and complex customer relationships, requiring deep technical leadership and cross-functional execution.
This is a front-line, deal-impacting role with responsibility for shaping and landing complex, multi-workload cloud opportunities. The Strategic Technical Lead acts as the technical conscience and "Deal CTO" for Microsoft’s most strategic partnerships, shaping opportunities from business strategy and qualification through commercial commitment, execution readiness, and value realisation.
You will be expected to lead from the front in deals, not operate as a support function,



driving clarity in ambiguity, influencing internal and external senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable impact across strategic opportunities.
Scope & Impact
Engage with business, technology, and transformation executives to align customer outcomes, technology strategy, and commercial commitments.
Lead end-to-end technical strategy for strategic partner accounts across Asia.
Operate with high autonomy and accountability in complex, high-visibility engagements.
Translate customer business strategy into consumption-led commercial models, including scenario-based financial modelling to drive commitments, deal strategy, and long-term partnership value.
Influence senior customer executives, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams.
