10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation and architecture experience.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, define solution architecture, ensure platform governance, and guide development teams in delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives.
The ServiceNow Developer will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, project managers, and development teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions leveraging ServiceNow best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Design
- Define end-to-end technical architecture for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead architecture workshops and technical design sessions with stakeholders.
- Produce High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Evaluate and recommend platform capabilities, integrations, and architectural approaches.
Platform Leadership
- Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance, and best practices.
- Drive adoption of out-of-the-box capabilities and minimize unnecessary customizations.
- Conduct architecture reviews and code quality assessments.
- Define platform upgrade and release management strategies.
Technical Delivery
- Lead technical implementation of ServiceNow modules including:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- IT Operations Management (ITOM)
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Customer Service Management (CSM)
- HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Governance, Risk Compliance (GRC/IRM)
- Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Now Assist and Agentic AI
- Provide guidance on:
- Workflow and process automation
- Flow Designer
- IntegrationHub
- Service Portal
- Employee Center
- UI Builder
- Workspace configurations
Integration Architecture
- Design integrations with enterprise systems using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- IntegrationHub
- MID Server
- JDBC
- LDAP
- SSO (SAML/OAuth/OpenID Connect)
- Collaborate with enterprise integration teams to ensure secure and scalable integrations.
Technical Governance
- Review technical solutions for compliance with security and architectural standards.
- Define platform performance, scalability, and monitoring strategies.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development lifecycle and release processes.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
Leadership Mentoring
- Provide technical leadership to developers and technical consultants.
- Mentor junior architects and development teams.
- Participate in effort estimation, solution planning, and project governance.
- Support presales activities, solution proposals, and architecture reviews.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- 7+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.
- Experience leading multiple end-to-end ServiceNow implementations.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
- Experience working in Agile and Hybrid delivery environments.
