As an Operations Automation Business Associate within Securities Services Operations (Automation Delivery), you translate user needs into accurate functional requirements and shape solution design inputs with engineering and architecture. You maintain a rigorous separation between user requirements, functional requirements, and technical solution design to ensure end-to-end traceability and auditability across delivery. You also enable governed adoption of firm-approved AI capabilities across Operations by defining AI-specific requirements and supporting scaled rollouts without writing automation code or pilots.
- Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Global Custody, Fund Services, Middle Office, and other product lines to elicit user requirements, target outcomes, and SLAs through workshops and interviews.
- Document current-state processes and pain points,



and translate findings into structured requirements artifacts for delivery teams.
- Author and maintain a layered requirements stack (user requirements, functional requirements, and technical design inputs) and drive stakeholder alignment and sign-off.
- Model as-is/to-be processes using BPMN, defining controls, exception handling, cutoffs, and upstream/downstream integrations aligned to client SLAs.
- Establish bidirectional traceability from requirements to epics/stories, tests, and releases, enforcing taxonomy, versioning, and change control.
- Define testable acceptance criteria and support QA/UAT execution, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
- Leverage firm-approved AI capabilities by specifying AI guardrails, evaluation approaches, human-in-the-loop requirements, and design inputs (e.g., inference integration and observability).
