Role Overview: -
As a General Ledger Manager, you will lead key accounting activities that support accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls. This role is responsible for overseeing close processes, reconciliations, reporting, audit support and compliance activities while guiding a team and collaborating across finance functions to improve efficiency and quality. The position offers the prospect to contribute to process enhancement and support a high-performing finance organisation.
Roles & Responsibility:
Job Goals: -




Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end general ledger close activities, including journal entries, accruals and prepayments.
Ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding variances.
Analyse financial data to identify trends and support management reporting requirements.
Support internal and external audit activities through the provision of documentation and responses to audit requests.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies and internal control requirements.
Partner with finance and business teams to gather information and support operational priorities.
Improve general ledger processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service delivery.
Ideal skills and capabilities:
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial reporting and reconciliations.
Experience working with accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar ER
