Job Purpose:

Responsible for the efficient functioning of the nursing services at Aveksha

Job Responsibilities:
- Disseminate the aim, objectives and policies regarding patient care to all nurses
- Closely interact with all departments regarding improvement of patient care
- Assess and guide nurses on improving their skills including the soft skills
- Guide and counsel the sub-ordinate nursing staff
- Plan & disseminate programmes for continuing education and re-orientation programmes for nurses
- Encourage research by nurses in their work areas
- Keep abreast of the latest happenings in nursing care by attending various conferences
- Strive to implement standard nursing practices and maintain the highest quality of care
- Analyse and plan for the efficient use of resources for nursing services as per the budget available
- Plan requirements of nurses and carry out recruitment of nurses
- Carry out daily ward rounds to ensure that all procedures are being carried out as per NABH Standards
- Conduct routine meetings at different levels to monitor the service delivery levels




- Assist the Operations Head in formulating broad policies concerning nursing services
- Investigate complaints from patients and ensure their resolution
- Provide timely reports and feedback on any issues related to patient care

Job Specifications:
- Qualification: B.Sc/ M.Sc in nursing or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in nursing administration post qualification
- Technical Skills / Job related skills: Record Management, high standard of patient care, knowledge in the latest and best practices in nursing field. Possess a high level of emotional intelligence
- Management Skills: Be a good team player while leading by example, maintain good people relations and maintain a positive attitude.
- Communication Skills: Positive command over English and Kannada, exhibit good listening skills with an ability to display empathy and provide advice.
