Role & responsibilities
1. Understand Leadership Mandates
- Understand client requirements, business objectives, organization structure and leadership expectations.
- Work closely with senior consultants/partners to understand the role, critical competencies and success factors.
- Translate industry and functional requirements into an effective search strategy.
2. Industry & Talent Mapping
- Leverage prior industry experience to identify relevant companies, functions and talent pools.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor mapping for senior leadership positions.
- Identify potential candidates through professional networks, industry contacts, databases and direct sourcing.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of senior professionals.
3. Executive Search
- Work on senior management and leadership mandates such as Functional Heads, Business Heads, Plant Heads, Directors, VPs and CXO positions.
- Identify and approach passive candidates who may not be actively looking for opportunities.
- Build candidate pipelines for niche and confidential assignments.
4. Candidate Assessment
- Conduct initial discussions with senior candidates to understand:
- Career progression
- Functional and industry expertise
- Leadership capabilities
- Team and business scale
- Key achievements
- Career aspirations
- Compensation and mobility
- Use prior industry knowledge to assess the technical and functional suitability of candidate
