Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Dispatch Manager / E-Commerce Assistant to manage the complete day-to-day dispatch process for our e-commerce orders.
This is not only a desk job. The candidate will be personally involved in picking, checking, packing, labelling and handing over courier parcels, while also maintaining accurate records of every shipment, return and courier claim.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, comfortable working on a computer/Excel, and very particular about documentation and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities1. Order Processing & Packing
- Process daily e-commerce and courier orders.
- Pick and verify products against customer orders.
- Personally pack courier parcels properly and securely.
- Print and attach shipping labels/invoices.
- Ensure correct product, quantity, weight and address before dispatch.
- Coordinate daily handover of shipments to courier partners.
- Ensure all orders are dispatched within the required timeline.
2. Dispatch Record Keeping
- Maintain a complete daily dispatch register for every parcel sent.
- Record order number, customer details, courier company, AWB/tracking number, dispatch date, parcel value and status.
- Maintain proper documentation for COD and prepaid shipments.
- Keep courier manifests, invoices and other dispatch documents properly filed.
- Regularly reconcile physical dispatches with e-commerce/courier system records.
3. Returns & RTO Management
- Maintain complete records of all returns and RTO (Return to Origin) parcels.
- Physically receive and check returned parcels.
- Record the condition, quantity and reason for return.
- Verify whether returned stock can be put back into inventory.
- Report damaged, missing, opened or incorrect returned parcels immediately.
