Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cook specializing in authentic Meghalaya cuisine to join our restaurant in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic traditional dishes from Meghalaya and the North-East.
- Maintain the original taste, flavour, and cooking techniques of ethnic cuisine.
- Plan and prepare daily meals as per the restaurant menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and utilization of food ingredients.
- Maintain consistency in taste and quality.
- Work efficiently in a restaurant kitchen environment.

Requirements
- Prior experience as a Cook, preferably with expertise in Meghalaya cuisine.




- Strong knowledge of traditional Meghalaya dishes, ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
- Ability to prepare both traditional and popular ethnic dishes.
- Good kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a kitchen team.
- Candidates from Meghalaya or with authentic knowledge of Meghalaya cuisine will be preferred.
