Role & responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring: Track vital signs, neurological status, and cardiac rhythms continuously.
- Equipment Management: Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, infusion pumps, and dialysis machines.
- Medication Administration: Titrate critical drips and calculate accurate drug dosages.
- Emergency Response: Initiate Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and assist during code blues or intubations.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to adjust treatment plans.
- Documentation: Keep detailed, hourly electronic records of patient responses, test results, and fluid intake/output.
Preferred candidate profile
GNM, Post Basic B.Sc (N), B.Sc (N) with 2-10 Years of ICU Experience as Staff Nurse.
