Job Description
Accounts and Finance Executive (Accounts Receivable)
Role Summary
We are looking for an Accounts and Finance Executive with a minimum of 1 year of experience to support day-to-day accounting operations, with a solid focus on financial analysis, accounts receivable, cash collection, and closing procedures. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with financial data and reconciliations.
Location: Powai, Mumbai (6 day work week)
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze financial and accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and key insights.
Prepare regular MIS and financial analysis reports for management.
Assist in monitoring revenue, expenses, receivables, and cash flow.
Support management with accurate and timely financial information.
Accounts Receivable & Cash Collection
Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities.
Monitor outstanding customer balances and ensure timely collections.
Follow up with customers regarding pending payments and resolve payment-related discrepancies.
Maintain accurate collection records and prepare receivables ageing reports.
Reconcile customer accounts and ensure timely closure of outstanding items.
Closing Procedures
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and on time.
Perform account and ledger reconciliations as part of the closing process.
Identify and resolve discrepancies before closure.
Assist in preparing closing reports and supporting documentation.
General Accounting
Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
Assist with invoices, payments, receipts, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for accounting-related requirements.
