Role & responsibilities

Teach Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to Class 10 CBSE students, aligned with the latest NCERT curriculum

Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons using activity-based and discussion-driven teaching methods

Design classroom activities, quizzes, and projects that boost student participation and critical thinking

Prepare students thoroughly for CBSE board exams lesson plans, practice papers, and revision schedules

Conduct regular assessments (unit tests, assignments) and provide timely, constructive feedback

Maintain classroom discipline and a positive, respectful learning environment

Track individual student progress and provide extra support to students who need it

Coordinate with other subject teachers and the academic coordinator for interdisciplinary projects

Communicate regularly with parents on student performance and behavior

Participate in school events, PTMs, and co-curricular activities as needed





Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and pedagogical best practices

Preferred candidate profile

B.Ed. (mandatory) with a Bachelor's/Master's degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics

Prior experience teaching CBSE Class 910 Social Studies preferred

Strong classroom presence with the ability to hold student attention and drive high engagement

Well-groomed, disciplined, and professional demeanor — sets a robust example for students

Excellent communication skills in English (Telugu/Hindi as an added advantage)

Patient, approachable, yet firm — able to balance warmth with classroom discipline

Comfortable using digital teaching aids, smart boards, and basic ed-tech tools

Team player, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement
