Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier & Factory Management

• Own relationships with footwear manufacturers and key suppliers.

• Drive factory production planning, capacity allocation, and execution to meet business requirements.

• Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.

2. Production & On-Time Delivery

• Own end-to-end production execution from order placement to dispatch.

• Ensure adherence to production schedules, timely dispatches, and TAT commitments.

• Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks to minimize delays.

3. Sourcing & Cost Optimisation

• Develop sourcing strategies across footwear categories.

• Drive commercial negotiations, cost benchmarking, and value engineering without compromising quality or timelines.

4. Product Development & Cross-functional Coordination

• Partner with Product Development, Planning, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth NPD execution and bulk production readiness.

• Ensure supplier readiness for new launches and seasonal transitions.

5. Supply Chain & Inventory





• Coordinate with Planning to prioritize production based on business demand.

• Work with Logistics to ensure timely pickups, dispatches, and inventory availability.

6. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.

• Drive process improvements to enhance factory productivity, OTIF, and lead times.

7. Reporting & Governance

• Track and report key sourcing and production KPIs including OTIF, production adherence, dispatch TAT, cost, andsupplier performance.

• Maintain accurate documentation of POs, production plans, and supplier commitments.

Requirement:

• Extremely solid with vendor management & negotiations

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• 8+ years of experience in sourcing, or a related field preferably as account manager in Footwear, Fast Fash
