- Strong proficiency in Java for production backend services (Spring Boot, microservices architecture)
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development (agentic frameworks, scripting, service integration)
- Hands-on experience building systems that use LLMs in production: API integration, prompt management, streaming, error handling, cost management
- Experience with at least one of: agentic frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, or similar), RAG pipelines, or AI orchestration systems
- Proven ability to design scalable, reliable distributed systems with strong observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and up-to-date SDLC practices: automated testing, quality gates, deployment automation
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), including managed AI/ML services
- Technical leadership experience: design reviews, mentorship, and setting engineering standards for a team
