Introduction to the Team

InsurTech is Expedia Group s team for insurance and assurance products. It identifies, incubates, and scales products that drive revenue and fit into the traveler journey, and it owns the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for those products.





In practice, the team builds reusable shop/book/serve capabilities for insurance and fintech offerings across Expedia brands, and focuses on things like supply integration, checkout, servicing, claims, content, experimentation, and ML/data platforms.
