About the Role

We are looking for a
highly driven Sales Manager
who can build and expand our distribution network across India.

The person will be responsible for
identifying, appointing and developing Primary Dealers/Distributors
, generating primary orders, expanding territories and building a sustainable sales network.

This is a
field-oriented hunter role
. The candidate must be comfortable travelling extensively across India, meeting potential distributors, negotiating commercial terms and
closing distributor appointments and orders
.

Key Responsibilities

1. Primary Dealer / Distributor Development
- Identify potential distributors across different states and markets.
- Generate distributor leads through market visits, references, online research, existing networks and competitor mapping.
- Meet prospective distributors personally.
- Evaluate their investment capacity, market network, infrastructure and sales potential.
- Negotiate commercial terms and appoint suitable Primary Dealers.
- Ensure newly appointed dealers place their
initial primary order
.




- Develop the dealer into a regular monthly buyer.

2. Pan-India Market Expansion
- Develop recent states, cities and territories where ModiGold currently has limited or no presence.
- Create a state-wise distributor development plan.
- Travel extensively across India for market development.
- Conduct market surveys and identify major dealers, distributors and competitors.
- Build a database of potential channel partners.

3. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual
primary sales targets
.
- Generate orders directly from distributors/dealers.
- Increase distributor-wise monthly billing.
- Ensure appointed distributors maintain adequate stock.
- Track territory-wise sales and identify gaps.

4. Closing & Negotiation
- Personally handle important distributor negotiations.
- Convert prospects into paying distributors.
- Handle objections related to price, margin, credit, territory, compet
