Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, taxation-related work, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong practical accounting knowledge and the ability to independently handle accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and review day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and accounting summaries.
- Manage GST-related accounting and support GST return preparation.
- Assist with TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Perform regular reconciliation of bank, customer, vendor,



and ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting work.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Practical experience with Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Good communication and professional working attitude.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate with hands-on experience in a CA firm, consultancy, accounting firm, or corporate accounting department will be preferred.
