Job Summary
- This role is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization of a manufacturing facility to meet overall global business requirements. The role involves strategic planning, process optimization, team management, and collaboration with cross-functional departments. The role consults with business leaders to influence strategic decisions and manage manufacturing activities from a strategic level.

Responsibilities
- Accounts for manufacturing operational activities for multiple, complex product lines, ensuring that performance meets the overall business needs.
- Manages a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and first level managers who typically support a complex regional/global business unit.
- Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
- Creates recent operational efficiencies and cost savings within the operation on a broad scale,



using process improvement.
- Manages the manufacturing activities from a strategic level with internal and/ or external parties, ensuring that operations are achieving key business metrics.
- Oversees the development and delivery of complex initiatives that can impact the supply chain globally, typically requiring the leadership of cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements.
- Allocates resources effectively to meet production demands and budgets.
- Participates in hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
