Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS Retail Consultant / SME for the BT account to design, configure, enhance and support SAP Retail processes across store, merchandise, procurement, inventory, sales, pricing, promotions, POS integration and retail master data. The role requires robust functional consulting capability in SAP IS Retail / S/4HANA Retail with working knowledge of integration across MM, SD, FI, CAR/POSDM, e-commerce and third-party systems. The candidate should be able to conduct requirement workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, support testing and resolve production issues in a global delivery model.

2. Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP IS Retail processes including article master, merchandise hierarchy, site/store setup, assortment, listing and retail pricing.
- Support end-to-end retail business flows covering procurement, inventory management, store/DC operations, sales order processing, billing, returns and promotions.
- Work on integration with POS, SAP CAR / POSDM,



e-commerce platforms and external systems, including IDoc / EDI troubleshooting and message monitoring.
- Collaborate with MM, SD, FI, logistics, warehouse, ABAP and integration teams to resolve cross-module process issues.
- Conduct requirement gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into SAP Retail functional designs.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEF / WRICEF objects, custom reports, enhancements, interfaces and forms.
- Perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, cutover support and post-go-live hypercare.
- Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, change requests and continuous improvement initiatives within SLA and governance expectations.
- Document configuration, test scripts, process flows, training material and support knowledge articles for business and delivery teams.
