Roles and Responsibility
- Operate and maintain various medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their safety during imaging.
- Interpret images taken with different modalities, such as X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a radiology setting, preferably in an animal health pathology lab.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles, including radiation safety protocols.
- Proficiency in operating various medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with patients, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid analytical skills are needed to interpret complex imaging results.
