About the Role

Colitco.com is an Australian business news website covering business, finance, commodities, and the mining industry. We are looking for a Content Writer with an understanding of the metal mining industry and basic mining terminology.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand mining-related news, research industry developments, and create clear, accurate, and engaging content for an Australian audience.

Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit articles related to metal mining, minerals, commodities, and mining companies.
- Research mining industry news, company announcements, market developments, and commodity trends.
- Understand and correctly use common mining terminology.
- Convert technical mining information into easy-to-understand business news.
- Monitor important developments in the Australian and global mining industry.
- Ensure articles are accurate, well-structured, and grammatically correct.
- Follow basic SEO and content-writing best practices.
- Coordinate with the editorial team through WhatsApp.

Requirements
- Previous experience in content writing,



journalism, business news, or mining-related content is preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of the metal mining industry is required.
- Familiarity with terms related to gold, copper, lithium, iron ore, nickel, critical minerals, exploration, mining projects, production, resources, and commodities is an advantage.
- Strong English writing and research skills.
- Ability to understand and simplify technical information.
- Positive attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently from home.
- Active WhatsApp availability is mandatory.
