Roles and Responsibilities :
- Financial Close & Reporting
- Lead and oversee the accounting close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and reporting within the specified timelines as per the Global Calendar
- Manage account reconciliations and ensure resolution of open items within defined timelines and ensure audit quality standards are adhered to
- Ensure adherence to reporting deadlines and quality standards
- Identification of potential improvements in Month end close process
- Guiding & leading the team from front end for month end and financial close activities
- Governance & Controls
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of accounting records in compliance with global accounting policies and local regulatory requirements
- Ensure financial controls are designed, implemented, and operating effectively
- Drive continuous monitoring and improvement of internal controls
- Ensure audit readiness and support internal & external auditors
- Ensure appropriate team structure and quality of work performed, including proper tone from the top
- Operates with a solution-oriented mind-set,



leveraging their strong accounting knowledge, to bring pro-active process improvements while ensuring complete and accurate reporting on a timely basis
- Process Management & Improvement
- Standardize and optimize R2R processes across regions
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process improvement
- Drive transformation initiatives within the R2R function
- Identify and drive value add opportunities
- Implement best practices in R2R
- Ensure robust internal & SOX control
- Drive adherence to SLA’s and continuous improvements to maintain TAT
- Drive quality improvement and solid documentation procedures across the team
- Drive tasks to completion with a proactive operating style; requires strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles and ensuring the team brings these items in their day-to-day execution Stakeholder Management
