Production Planning – Detailed Scheduling (PP-DS)
Configure and support SAP PP/DS planning processes, production scheduling, master data, integration, testing, and issue resolution.

Role Overview
Planning today is manual and spreadsheet-based,



siloed across individual planners, and dependent on collating data from roughly nine systems before a plan can be produced for a single line. The target is a single, constraint-aware, plant-wide plan in SAP S/4HANA PP-DS — respecting machine, unit, tool, tool hardness, mold, active cavity count, labor, dryer availability, shift, downtime and changeover constraints — with an estimated 90% reduction in planner time from constraint input to plan output and genuine what-if capability for the first time. The assessment found most requirements met by standard; the residual scope is one bounded theme: planner-maintained adaptable machine × mold × tool × cavity master data.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the PP-DS validation workshop; confirm the 30 planning requirements, close open design items and produce signed-off functional design.
