Job Overview:

Uma Polymers Ltd. is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant- Finance and Accounts to manage core accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting processes, GST compliance, Tally ERP, and advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping and ledger maintenance.
- Handle GST compliance activities such as returns, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records in Tally and ensure timely data entry and updates.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and customer account management.




- Prepare MIS reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
- 2 - 4 years of experience in core accounting roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in GST filing, compliance, and reconciliation.
- Excellent working knowledge of Tally ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel (must-have).
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Solid attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
