Job Description:-

ICON is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in laboratory and imaging workflows. This person will bridge business needs and technology solutions and support cross-functional teams using Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with laboratory, imaging, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create detailed process maps, workflows, and visual models using Lucidchart or similar tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within laboratory operations.
- Manage and refine Jira backlogs based on business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence,



including business cases, process maps, requirements, and decision logs.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Serve as the liaison between business teams, development, QA, data engineers, and architects.
- Support integration of laboratory and clinical systems within an AWS/cloud setting.
- Ensure appropriate data governance, privacy, and security standards are followed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- At least 2 years of labs/imaging or healthcare IT experience.
- Strong experience with LIS/LIMS and laboratory workflows.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Lucidchart or comparable process-mapping tools.
- Familiarity with AWS/cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of HL7 and healthcare system integrations.
