About the Role

Rio Clays Private Limited is looking for an experienced
QA Chemist
to join its Quality Assurance/Quality Control team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of raw materials, in-process materials and finished mineral products through chemical and physical testing, quality monitoring and proper documentation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in
chemical analysis, laboratory testing and quality control
, preferably within the
minerals, ceramics, chemicals, clay, kaolin, feldspar or other process-manufacturing industries
.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Testing & Analysis
- Conduct physical and chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
- Perform testing as per approved specifications, SOPs and customer requirements.




- Analyse mineral samples and monitor key quality parameters.
- Ensure accurate sampling, testing and recording of results.
- Identify deviations in test results and immediately communicate them to the concerned team.
- Maintain consistency and reliability of laboratory test results.

Raw Material & Process Quality
- Inspect and test incoming raw materials such as
kaolin, ball clay, feldspar and other mineral materials
.
- Monitor quality parameters at different stages of the manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular production-line/batch sampling.
- Coordinate with the Production team to identify and control quality variations.
- Monitor batch-to-batch consistency and investigate abnormal variations.

Finished Product Quality
- Test finished products against approved product specifications.
- Verify product quality before release and dispatch.
- Prepare and maintain test reports and Certificates of Analysis (COA), wherever required.
