Position: CMM Operator

Department: Quality / Inspection

Location: Gurgaon

Salary: ₹24,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Experience: 6 Months – 2 Years

1. Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically sound CMM Operator with basic hands-on experience in CMM operations. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting precision machined components, executing CMM programs, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection of components using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

Execute pre-defined CMM programs for dimensional inspection

Carry out basic CMM setup, alignment, and probing

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements

Conduct manual inspection using:

Vernier caliper

Micrometer

Height gauge

Bore gauge

Prepare and maintain inspection reports and records

Identify and report non-conforming (NG) parts

Support quality team in CMM programming and process improvement

Ensure proper handling and maintenance of measuring instruments

3. Required Skills & Competencies





Basic hands-on knowledge of CMM operation (mandatory)

Familiarity with CMM software (PC-DMIS / Calypso / ArcoCAD preferred)

Understanding of GD&T; basics

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Solid attention to detail and measurement accuracy

Basic computer skills (Excel, report documentation)

4. Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

5. Experience Requirement

Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in CMM / Quality Inspection

Candidates must have prior exposure to CMM operation (internship/training/job)

6. Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in automotive or precision machining industry

Exposure to CNC/VMC machined components inspection

Basic understanding of quality processes and documentation

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
