F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Permit Expeditor & CAD Drafter to support U.S. residential reconstruction projects.
This is a hands-on role combining CAD drafting with permit coordination. You’ll turn 3D scan exports into permit-ready drawings, manage permit packages, research local requirements, coordinate with third parties, and communicate directly with U.S. municipal offices when needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Convert DocuSketch or Matterport 3D scan exports into accurate, to-scale CAD packages
• Create and revise residential construction drawings using AutoCAD or comparable software
• Prepare permit-ready drawing sets for U.S. residential reconstruction projects
• Research local building and permitting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
• Work with municipal permit portals and coordinate permit submissions
• Coordinate third-party reports such as engineer, damage, and site-plan reports
• Handle plan-review corrections and resubmittals
• Communicate by phone with U.S. municipal offices in transparent English
• Manage multiple projects and permit files simultaneously
• Use AI tools to support drafting, research, and permitting workflows
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Hands-on CAD drafting experience using AutoCAD or comparable software
• Ability to read and create residential construction drawings
• Experience producing accurate, permit-ready plans from real project information
• Strong research skills and ability to work through jurisdiction-specific requirements
• Comfortable communicating with U.S. municipal offices by phone
• Strong spoken and written English
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours
• Comfortable using AI tools in your daily workflow
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience converting DocuSketch or Matterport scans into CAD drawings
• Previous U.S. permit-expediting experience
• Experience with mid-Atlantic U.S. jurisdictions
• Background in residential fire, flood, or other damage-reconstruction projects
