Chartered Accountant Direct Tax - Litigation, Advisory, Research and Compliance

Key Responsibilities

You will work directly with senior professionals on challenging assignments involving:
- Researching complex issues under the Income-tax Act, DTAA, FEMA, Black Money Act and Benami Law.
- Drafting legal opinions, advisory notes and technical memoranda.
- Preparing submissions for assessments, reassessments, search proceedings, CIT(A) and ITAT.
- Assisting in litigation strategy and representation.
- Advising clients on routine tax advisory and exchange control regulations.
- Keeping track of development of changes in Tax and allied laws and analysing judicial precedents and legislative developments.
- Preparing tax alerts, newsletters and articles for skilled publications.
- Creating presentations for webinars and knowledge sessions.
- Handling Multiple Client Relationship.
- Working with AI tools to improve legal research, drafting and internal knowledge management.
- Contributing to development of standard operating procedures,



research databases and internal knowledge repositories.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for someone who is
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 25 years' experience in Direct Tax in a professional tax advisory Firm.
- Experience in litigation or tax advisory is preferred.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills.
- Interested in business development.
