Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Overview
The Open Banking SRE team is responsible for building, operating, and scaling highly available cloud-native platforms. This role is deeply focused on AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms (EKS), supporting critical production systems in a fast-paced, high-growth workplace.

You will combine software engineering, infrastructure engineering, and operations to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across services.

Role





Engage across the full-service lifecycle from design through production operations

Partner with product engineering teams to design, implement, and operate applications in cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker)

Manage and support critical production systems in a fast-moving cloud program

Automate infrastructure, monitoring, and operational processes

Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Monitor system health, availability, and performance

Participate in on-call rotation and incident response; lead root cause analysis

Drive reliability improvements through automation and observability

Partner with development, product, and global teams to improve system resilience

Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and operational standards
