What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with Product Line Managers to understand product requirements, business objectives, and market-driven feature needs, and translate them into technical requirements and system-level architectures. Define and maintain the digital architecture, technology roadmap, and platform strategy for Medium Voltage Switchgear and Distribution Transformer product portfolios.
- Establish reusable architecture frameworks and technology building blocks that can be leveraged across multiple product families to improve scalability, interoperability, maintainability, and time-to-market.
- Drive architecture decisions related to embedded systems, IoT connectivity, industrial communication protocols, cybersecurity, edge computing, remote monitoring, and intelligent asset management.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment with approved architecture, product requirements, and business objectives.




- Act as the technical authority for digital product initiatives and guide engineering teams in making sound architectural and technology decisions.
- Provide technical mentorship and coaching to system, hardware, firmware, software, and validation engineers during product development and technology investigations.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to future product and platform developments.
- Drive technical innovation through identification, evaluation, and adoption of new technologies that create customer value and strengthen product competitiveness.
- Support development teams in resolving complex system-level technical challenges and trade-off decisions.
- Promote architecture governance, design best practices, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement in development processes.
