You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining the right inventory levels, optimizing them according to the companys targets while ensuring high customer service level.
- Performing standard and detailed analyses of planning and fulfillment metrics, including Days Inventory on Hand (DIH), on-time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy, and resource utilization.
- Identifying key root causes for non-performance and drives improvement initiatives across business.
- Runs a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution (S&OE;) process,
ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
- Coordinates an appropriate response to unplanned events.
- Leads/contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP;) process.
- Segments and optimizes the portfolio of materials through ABC/XYZ analysis , product lifecycle management and Defines inventory policies based on the specified segmentation.
- Calculates and maintains the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERPs.
