- Assess patients’ nutritional and dietary requirements.
- Prepare individualized diet plans based on medical conditions, lifestyle, and nutritional needs.
- Provide dietary counseling to patients and their families.
- Develop therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, kidney disease, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Monitor patients’ nutritional progress and modify diet plans when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient nutrition records and documentation.
- Educate patients about healthy eating, portion control, and lifestyle modification.
- Ensure compliance with hospital/clinical nutrition protocols.
