About the Role
Udayan Group is looking for a
detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Commercial Executive
to manage day-to-day financial operations, accounting, statutory compliance, reporting and cost control.
The role will primarily focus on
Finance & Accounts
, while also coordinating with internal teams and vendors on purchase documentation, payment processing and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Accounts — Primary Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, journal entries and bank reconciliation.
- Handle accounts payable, receivables, invoicing and payment processing.
- Prepare regular financial statements, MIS and management reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Coordinate monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks,
tax consultants and financial institutions.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Provide financial insights to management for better decision-making.
2. Commercial & Purchase Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, invoices, purchase orders and payment documentation.
- Assist in vendor comparison and commercial evaluation.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries and pending invoices.
- Coordinate with operational and project teams regarding purchase requirements.
- Maintain supplier and purchase records.
- Support management in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for major purchases wherever required.
3. Cost Control & Compliance
- Monitor expenses against approved budgets.
- Maintain proper documentation for financial and commercial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
