Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and govern system architecture for RQ Core and Prospective programs, ensuring scalability, security, resiliency, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards
- Lead the architecture and execution of the 2026 Cornerstone decommissioning, designing migration strategies, targetstate architectures, and riskmitigation plans to ensure seamless legacy retirement
- Drive AIenabled modernization and automation initiatives,



identifying opportunities to improve platform efficiency, observability, and engineering productivity
- Design and standardize microservices and eventdriven architectures using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB, ensuring high throughput, fault tolerance, and extensibility
- Provide architectural leadership for cloudnative and container platforms, guiding Kubernetes (K8s) adoption, service orchestration, scalability patterns, and operational best practices
- Act as a technical mentor and decision authority, collaborating with engineering, product, security, and platform teams to review designs, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure longterm system stability
