We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor with 1 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, social media content, and short-form and long-form video editing.

Key responsibilities

- Edit YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, Shorts, interviews, podcasts, news videos, and promotional content.
- Create engaging short-form videos optimized for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Edit long-form videos with proper pacing, storytelling, transitions, graphics, and audio.
- Add captions, subtitles, motion graphics, text animations, B-roll, sound effects, and background music where required.
- Work with the content and social media teams to understand creative requirements and deliver videos on time.




- Select and organize footage to create compelling and visually engaging stories.
- Ensure videos follow the brand guidelines and visual identity of the organization.
- Optimize videos according to platform requirements, including aspect ratios, resolutions, duration, and file formats.
- Edit podcast clips and create multiple engaging social media cuts from long-form episodes.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media formats, transitions, effects, and content styles.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

- Required skills

- 1 years of experience as a video editor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with After Effects is an added advantage.
- Positive understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, and social media content.
- Strong sense of timing, storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of basic color correction, audio editing, transitions, and motion graphics.
- Ability to create engaging videos that capture audience attention in the first few seconds.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with creative and content teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred

- Experience working with news, media, podcasts, interviews, or digital content.
- Knowledge of AI-based video editing and content creation tools.
- Experience creating high-CTR video content, thumbnails, and social media creatives is an advantage.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work.
