Role Description The Video Editor role at ChopShop Lab is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the Video Editor will assemble and edit video footage, refine narrative flow, and ensure that projects meet creative briefs and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw assets, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed.

Editor will collaborate with producers, designers, and other team members to review drafts, incorporate feedback, and finalize deliverables on schedule.



The role also involves working within AI-powered editing workflows, maintaining file management best practices, and continuously improving the visual quality and consistency of output.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to handle end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements and overlays.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Solid attention to detail, storytelling sense, and understanding of sound design and basic audio editing are beneficial.
- Prior experience in a tech-enabled or AI-assisted post-production environment is an advantage, as is familiarity with social and digital video formats.
