- Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients.
- Attend to patients in Emergency, OPD, IPD and other assigned clinical areas.
- Take detailed patient history, perform clinical examination and prepare appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor patients clinical condition and respond promptly to any deterioration or emergency situation.
- Prescribe medications, investigations and treatment as per clinical requirements.
- Coordinate with Consultants and other medical departments for appropriate patient management.
- Conduct regular rounds of admitted patients and maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Review investigation reports and communicate relevant findings to patients and their attendants.




- Handle medical emergencies and initiate appropriate immediate management when required.
- Ensure proper implementation of hospital protocols, infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records, case sheets, progress notes and discharge documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
- Provide appropriate counselling and guidance to patients and their attendants regarding treatment and follow-up.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits and other hospital-related activities as required.
