Role Description The UG/PG Counsellor // Senior UG/PG Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The role involves guiding prospective undergraduate and postgraduate learners through program options, understanding their goals, and recommending suitable Hero Vired courses.

Responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions (in-person, telephonic, and virtual), explaining curriculum, admission processes, and career outcomes, and supporting learners from initial inquiry through enrollment. The counsellor will maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM, follow up on leads, and collaborate with admissions, marketing, and academic teams to ensure a smooth learner journey. Senior counsellors may also mentor junior team members, refine counselling processes,



and contribute to outreach initiatives and events.

Qualifications

- Strong counselling and advisory skills with the ability to understand learner aspirations and recommend appropriate UG/PG programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with proficiency in English; Hindi and additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Sales and conversion skills, including lead qualification, pipeline management, and experience working with CRM or admissions management tools.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple enquiries, follow-ups, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of higher education trends, career pathways, and the Indian education system; prior experience in education counselling or admissions is preferred.
- Comfort with technology-enabled counselling (video calls, online forms, digital presentations) and basic MS Office or Google Workspace skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; postgraduate qualification in education, psychology, business, or related fields is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer-centric approach, professional conduct, and the ability to work in a target-driven, collaborative environment.
