Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers to ensure secure and efficient steam generation for production lines.
- Perform routine inspections of boilers, valves, pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
- Maintain optimal boiler parameters including pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel consumption.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to boiler operation and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of boiler operations, fuel usage, breakdowns, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor water treatment systems to maintain correct chemical dosing and prevent scaling/corrosion.
- Respond promptly to alarms, abnormalities, or emergency situations.
- Support energysaving initiatives and contribute to overall plant efficiency.
- Follow GMP, safety protocols, and hygiene standards required in cosmetic manufacturing environments.

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of boiler operation,



steam systems, and utilities management.
- Handson experience with highpressure boilers in a manufacturing setup (preferably cosmetics, pharma, FMCG, or chemical industries).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, gauges, and instrumentation.
- Good understanding of safety standards, statutory compliance, and emergency procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure during peak production hours.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Valid 1st & 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate from a recognized authority / Factory & Boiler Department.
- 510 years of experience in boiler operation in a manufacturing plant.
- Knowledge of GMP and safety protocols relevant to cosmetic production is an added advantage.
