Job Summary

Seeking an experienced
Architect – Fire & Life Safety Consultant
to prepare, review and coordinate fire safety designs in compliance with
NFPA standards and local authority requirements
. The role requires strong experience in FLS consultancy, authority submissions and coordination with clients and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Fire & Life Safety design concepts and detailed drawings.
- Review architectural drawings for fire and life safety compliance.
- Prepare
FLS drawings, reports and authority submissions
.
- Review building layouts, means of escape and fire-safety provisions.
- Identify non-compliances and recommend code-compliant solutions.
- Coordinate with authorities, consultants,



developers and contractors.
- Attend technical meetings with clients and authorities.
- Support projects from concept and design development through final approval.
- Provide support during site inspections and final approvals.

Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant Fire & Life Safety consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of
NFPA standards
.
- Experience with authority submissions and approvals.
- Proficiency in
AutoCAD
; Revit is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of
building layouts, fire escape planning and life safety systems
.
- Previous Fire Safety Consultancy experience preferred.
