About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Operations Associate / Accountant to support the day-to-day operations and financial administration of our transportation business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage operational records, coordinate with drivers and customers, track payments and expenses, and maintain accurate accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily transportation operations, including trip and vehicle records
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal team members
- Track trips, billing, collections, fuel expenses, tolls, maintenance, and other operating costs
- Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Assist with bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations
- Maintain accurate documentation for vehicles, drivers, trips, and expenses
- Monitor business expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions
- Assist with payroll, vendor payments,



and other accounting-related tasks
- Support management with administrative and operational responsibilities as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, operations, logistics, transportation, or a similar role preferred.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment
- Experience with accounting software Tally.
