Manager Finance & Accounts

Job Summary
The Manager Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations across business divisions, ensuring statutory compliance, driving financial reporting and controls, and leading a team of approximately 10-12 finance professionals.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, treasury, MIS, working capital, budgeting, and team management, preferably with experience in Retail, Distribution, Export, E-commerce, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business divisions.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor debtor collections, ageing, and receivables.
- Oversee vendor payments and account reconciliations.
- Ensure effective cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 1012 Account Executives.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team productivity.
- Ensure timely completion of financial deliverables.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Financial Controls
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, and company procedures.
