Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Operation
- Operate machines for optical fiber cable production.
- Set up machines as per production specifications
- Monitor machine parameters.
- Ensure continuous and effective production with minimal downtime.
- Machine cleaning .
2. Process Monitoring & Control
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to machine/Process
- Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent output quality.
3. Quality Assurance
- Perform in-process quality checks (fiber count, diameter, concentricity, etc.).
- Ensure cables meet customer and industry standards.
- Report defects and coordinate with QA teams for corrective actions.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance of SZ machines.
- Identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for major repairs.
5. Material Handling
- Load and unload materials.
- Ensure proper handling to prevent fiber damage or contamination.
- Maintain accurate material usage records.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain production logs, machine records, and shift reports.
- Record downtime, defects, and corrective actions.
- Follow traceability requirements for OFC production.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
