AGM / DGM Operations

Location: Coimbatore (Must be HQ at Coimbatore)

Experience: Relevant senior-level operations experience in the parcel/logistics industry

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM / DGM Operations to lead and manage end-to-end operations for a leading parcel service company in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have solid exposure to Pan-India operations and/or operations across major cities, with proven expertise in managing large teams, hubs, service quality, productivity and operational profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end parcel/logistics operations across assigned locations.
- Drive operational performance, productivity, service quality and cost efficiency.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hubs, branches, delivery operations and associated facilities.
- Monitor daily operational KPIs and take corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Ensure timely pickup, processing, movement and delivery of shipments.

Pan-India / Multi-City Operations




- Must have experience managing operations across Pan-India or major Indian cities.
- Coordinate with regional/zonal teams and central operations.
- Standardize processes and best practices across multiple locations.
- Manage operational challenges involving high shipment volumes and multiple stakeholders.

Team & People Management
- Lead large teams of operations, hub and delivery personnel.
- Build a performance-driven culture and improve employee productivity.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, training and performance evaluation.
- Develop second-line leadership and operational talent.

Business & Cost Management
- Drive operational profitability through effective manpower, route and resource utilization.
- Control operating costs without compromising customer service.
- Monitor productivity, capacity utilization and other critical operational metrics.
