Educational Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Mandatory)
- Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or Hospital Administration (Preferred)

Experience
- 12-18 years of experience in Biomedical Engineering, Hospital Projects, Medical Equipment Planning, or Healthcare Infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading biomedical projects for multi-specialty hospitals.
- Experience in greenfield hospital development projects is highly preferred.
- Exposure to tertiary care hospitals with 300+ beds preferred.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning Design
- Lead biomedical planning activities for greenfield and brownfield hospital projects.
- Develop department-wise medical equipment plans based on clinical requirements and capacity plans.
- Collaborate with doctors, architects, MEP consultants, and hospital planners to ensure proper space planning and equipment integration.
- Review architectural, civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas drawings from a biomedical perspective.
- Ensure compliance with NABH,



JCI, statutory, and healthcare design standards.

Medical Equipment Planning Procurement
- Prepare Medical Equipment Lists (MEL) and equipment specifications for all clinical departments.
- Evaluate current technologies and benchmark equipment requirements against leading healthcare institutions.
- Lead technical evaluation, vendor assessment, tendering, negotiations, and finalization of medical equipment procurement.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for budget preparation and project cost optimization.
- Manage procurement schedules in line with project timelines.

Installation Commissioning
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of medical equipment.
- Ensure readiness of utilities such as electrical systems, HVAC, UPS, medical gas pipelines, and networking for equipment installation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to achieve timely commissioning
