Role & responsibilities
- Plan and execute automation projects in collaboration with Plant, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), and cross-functional teams.
- Identify automation opportunities in Pressure Die Casting (PDC) and Machine Shop operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Take responsibility for all technical and engineering aspects of automation projects.
- Ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budgets.
- Drive cost optimization through creative automation solutions and technical expertise.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and implementation of automation projects.
- Monitor project performance, savings, equipment utilization, power consumption, tool consumption, water usage, and AMC costs.
- Improve equipment reliability by reducing MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and enhancing MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Ensure compliance with statutory, technical and safety requirements

during project executions and installation.
